Pets! They are our companions and can be important members of our family. Pets represent and reveal so much about our own lives. We are devoted to them and they can be equally devoted to us. PictureCompete is seeking the most interesting and captivating images of your personal definition of the “Perfect Pet.” Submit up to three photos that movingly display that special relationship between people and pets.

In this call for entry the “eyes” definitely have it! The eyes are said to be the windows of the soul. They tell so much about ourselves. Feelings of joy, sadness or fear radiate from the eyes. Truth or betrayal can be discovered from one glance. The eyes are a defining part of us. You are invited to submit your representations of the human eye.

Structures and buildings that are in a state of decay are often intriguing. They arouse our curiosity. Some of these dwellings are plain and mundane while others reveal hints of having more elaborate architectural details. We ponder their history and wonder why they were left alone. To a photographer they are great sources for the most interesting images. Send us your best representations of abandoned structures.
